OK, I used my son's laptop and it recognized the iphone right off. It would only allow me to activate, so I figured to try and then cancel in three days. Went thru the process and it came back saying ATT needed more time to process activation and that I would be emailed when activation was done. That was several hours ago. Nothing from them yet....
