so my phone keeps stopping in the middle of sending a text. its not freezing or anythnign cuz i can do other stuff while i its sending but i just get tired of it staying on that screen for so long.. what can i do? i'm really trying to avoid a restore but i'll do it if i have to and i have reset it multiple times and cleared cache and everything.. thanks to anyone who can help

It's your service. The text sending progress bar correlates to how well the service provider is able to take your text and send it out to the number you want. I've had that problem a few times when I used iphone with T-Mobile..

Have you tried turning off your WIFI?

Also, low signal 2G/EDGE connections can take awhile to send an SMS with the iPhone.. =/
