Getting ready to toss my iPhone 4 as I am frustrated that my enterprise email does not push when my phone sits idle for long periods of time. My job requires me to be on email alert 24-7. The other night I rebooted my phone and when it came back up I had 8 emails from 4 hours earlier appear. 1 that was critical and needed immediate action. Because of my delayed response I almost lost my job! Apple blames my IT department. My IT department blames Apple. I am over it and will be going back to a B Berry. Never had issues until I upgraded the phone. Goodbye Apple, Goodbye At&T!
It's Apple, 4.0 and 4.0.1 has bugs, 4.1 FIXES these bugs. If you can wait till Apple releases 4.1 which is in beta 3 you will once again get instant push.
I went crazy because of 4.0 and 4.0.1, but after I installed 4.1 B3 it's perfect. Hopefully it will be out to the public soon, 1-2 weeks.
