Got sucked into the vortex that is iPhone 4 today.... Couldn't resist that sexy call of the double-glass/steel-band vixen!!!

Seriously, had a 3GS last year and then gave it to my son when he screwed up his, so was running with my little BB 8900 which is a great phone. Was a BB user for most of past 10 years (got some really old ones in my closet) but seeing that iP4 when it came out this summer made me remember how much I missed the 3GS for the few months I had it last year. Wife and daughter are drooling......

It's a great device. Give it time, understand it's limitations, and embrace its benefits.

^^^ I agree, you'll never really get the phone's potential until it jailbroken.

Thanks all!! Pretty good experience so far, but did manage to screw up Sunday and lose my contacts that were transferred at the store from my BB when I bought the iP4 last Friday. Also lost some transferred pics and some new pics just taken this past weekend at a Saturday football game, Dang it! Happened when I did the first sync with iTunes on my desktop and accidentally told it to sync based on the old 3GS backup from the phone I had briefly last year. Got back a bunch of apps I didnt really care about now and lost the pics and contacts. Guess I can run back to get the contacts with another in-store transfer. Oh well.... lesson learned the hard way....

And oh yeah, I'm thinking jailbreak, but down the road a bit as I'm still a new "iP4 virgin" and want to get a little more time with her before taking the plunge and going wild!!!!

I had been using a BlackBerry for a while and I couldn't resist the iPhone 4 anymore. I used the "Jobs Approved" setup for about a month to get a good feel for the stock os. Decided to Jailbreak about 2 weeks ago and could never go back now. JB apps like biteSMS and SBSettings are worth the JB alone. I just installed a theme called "Elite Pro HD" and almost drooled on the screen.

Also download "remove background" to easily get rid of all those standby apps that are running in the background.

I messed with the iPhone 4, and the display is nice; navigation was smooth. If I was on AT&T, I'd really look at an iPhone, or the best Android device offered.
