I have updated my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.0.1 the other day, and I have my phone jailbroken as well. I've noticed that my signal has been weaker lately. When I was running 3.1.3, in my house I would have anywhere between 3-5 bars, and now since updating i usually get 1-3 bars inside. Has anyone noticed any difference in their signal strength?

Perhaps you missed the various articles about how 4.0 and 3.? were misreporting the signal strength and that 4.0.1 corrected this.

Net effect: in 4.0.1 the actual strength is the same, it's supposedly being shown more accurately.

Yeah, I just said that because it hit me. I always wondered why our old 3G would drop calls while standing in one place while it showed full or close to full signal strength. And why it always showed signal where I knew it shouldn't. Now it all makes sense...lol!
