Calendar issue

I have a 3GS on tmobile. I use the native calendar and it's synced with google calendar. I have a bb that is also synced weith google.

I only add appointments to the iphone. I added a few recurring appointments and it has added them like 300 times to both the iphone asnd bb calendar.

What you have done is sync your account twice. Once to iCloud and once to gmail. What you need to do is disconnect the calendar syncing from gmail. Confirm "delete on iPhone". Then do the same with iCloud calendars.

Then turn back on calendar syncing in gmail and you should be fine.

Thanks but thats not it. I don't use iCloud. Something went goofy with my recurring appointments. I've got 1000s. I guess I will go into gmail and delete everthing and start over. It's a mess!

Update. I used an ICal duplicaste fixer and it removed 2000 entries, readded the calendar back to iPhone and it all good. Plugged in the BB and deleted calendar data and all is working. Still don't know what went wrong originally but it was related to the recurring appointments.
