Thanks for the heads up! It is nice having IM working in the background, even though it costs a few bucks I didn't want to wait for Apple to get push notifications working.
I also didn't realize that mobileme was actually working as push email finally, back when I was testing it out it wasn't that fast at all. - 09-29-2008, 09:43 AM #4
Thanks. I bought it due the to first 50 positive reviews. I haven't toyed with it yet though.

I only use AIM as well and find BeeJive to be superior.
The first is "fake push" It send an email to your device letting you know that you have a msg when you are out of the client. Although it says Mobile me is required, you can set up a Yahoo account (if you don't already have one) or any other client (I don't know of any that pushes aside from those and Mobile2Web.
I have been using it w/ my yahoo. I will set it up with my mobileme, but Yahoo has been working since 2.1 for me.CrackBerry.com Mod | Retired Android Central Mod | Tech Enthusiast

The [+] sign in the bottom right is the message I started typing and chose to click into the message box to see the screen. When you click the [+] sign, the message you were typing comes right back up.

Please take note of the AIM symbol with the number 4 next to it. This represents the amount of IMs you have.

When I touch it, a preview screen comes down for 3 seconds. I can chose to click into one or let it disappear and continue chatting. I had received another IM before hitting the preview screen, hence 5 messages.
