Thanks for the heads up! It is nice having IM working in the background, even though it costs a few bucks I didn't want to wait for Apple to get push notifications working.

I also didn't realize that mobileme was actually working as push email finally, back when I was testing it out it wasn't that fast at all.

What are the benefits of getting beejive vs me just using AIM that I already have?

If you only need AIM, then don't by Beejive. But if you need more than one client, then Beejive is the best out there that combines all of them into one program.

I only use AIM as well and find BeeJive to be superior.

The first is "fake push" It send an email to your device letting you know that you have a msg when you are out of the client. Although it says Mobile me is required, you can set up a Yahoo account (if you don't already have one) or any other client (I don't know of any that pushes aside from those and Mobile2Web.

I have been using it w/ my yahoo. I will set it up with my mobileme, but Yahoo has been working since 2.1 for me.

The [+] sign in the bottom right is the message I started typing and chose to click into the message box to see the screen. When you click the [+] sign, the message you were typing comes right back up.

Please take note of the AIM symbol with the number 4 next to it. This represents the amount of IMs you have.

When I touch it, a preview screen comes down for 3 seconds. I can chose to click into one or let it disappear and continue chatting. I had received another IM before hitting the preview screen, hence 5 messages.
