Hello, my wife is getting to turn to the dark side. LOL! She is trying to figure out which one she wants the 8g or the 16g. Is there really a need to have a 16g for normal everyday use?
I guess it depends on what you think normal is. I have over 12MB of music I'd like to put on my media card but, I can't see spending that kind of money right now. Same thing for my PC - I'd love to have the terabyte HD but...
Also, make sure her BB will work with either card. Check out the "Media Cards Explained" link in my signature for details.
ok I think you misunderstood. She has a 8700 now and she is switching to the Iphone. My question is, is it worth getting a 16g or would a 8g be enough?
I have a 16g with tons of music and apps on it, and still have 10g left. Unless she is going to have a lot of movies/videos, then 8g should be plenty. If the extra $100 isn't an issue, I'd get the 16g anyway.
I agree with charlie, if you plan to put movies or music videos on it you should get the 16gb. I wish I got the 16gb but I was too cheap and regretting it now.
I got the 16 as I am a big music/Family Guy listener/watcher.......if she isn't too much into stuff like that.......or doesn't want it in white.....8 is enough.....
I tried both, and sent both back......funnily enough the amount of memory didn't affect it's ability to hold onto a damn network! Neither of them did that well at all, and I live in the middle of the city. It's cool as far as a gadget goes, and the UI is truly brilliant, but it's utter utter junk as a phone. Get the Touch if you want to get her an amazing iPod, but I wouldn't recommend trusting the iPhone as a phone!
