3.0 First Impressions...
WoW - First thing that came to mind. I installed beta 2 today (never tried beta 1).
The few things that I've noticed off hand...
The numeric battery meter was still there along the normal one meter. I use the numeric jailbreaking.
MMS... I attempted to send one and it worked to both recepients. They received it fast too.
Copy and Paste... smooth. Definitely better than the Storms. I was copying and pasting in Safari! Awesome.
Spotlight... I'm not going to use it, but it's pretty good.
Double-Click Home... can now be set for the following: Home, Search, Phone Favs, Camera & iPod. I set it to camera. Couldn't help it... it's like my right convenience on my BB.CrackBerry.com Mod | Retired Android Central Mod | Tech Enthusiast

Actually, you can't activate the phone with 3.0 unless your phone is listed on a developer's account. I'd say Duvi is in the clear.

Eh, I haven't tried Beta 2. I'll try it tomorrow.
The powers have called me away.
Another time, To carry the colors again.
My motivation, An oath I've sworn to defend.
To win the honor, Of coming back home again.

no you cant DFU restore back to 2.2.1
It still locks onto the 3.0 baseband. Others have been reporting this. I have tried it myself. You have to quickpwn it back to 2.2.1 but the baseband and 2.2.1 dont talk to each other and you get no network connections.
Im on Beta 2 right now (i have a dev account) and its running pretty stable. - 04-02-2009, 09:43 PM #12
More important, what about push notification (multitasking)? For example running gtalk or Messenger...

Now the bad...
I can't seem to send an MMS by taking a photo (through messages). I can take it then go to messages and send from existing.
Landscape mode... there needs to be an option to turn it off. I don't like or use it aside from Safari and it's annoying!CrackBerry.com Mod | Retired Android Central Mod | Tech Enthusiast
