thinking about making a playbook app

Okay so I want to make a playbook app (not for the free pb, I just want to learn)

What would be a basic app to try to make? A note taking app? A basic game? I can use photoshop, just looking to make something basic to start and learn.

I would rather create for the pb not phones, is the coding similar?

I haven't done much reading, but I want to learn. Please don't flame me, just want to know a basic app to try to create.

I think if you know some advanced HTML, webworks might be an interesting way to get into it.
Or you use Air. Or the native SDK when it comes out. There's just so many ways to make apps now!
