Default Question to BlackBerry Developers (Simplenote Access)

hi,

i switched from the iphone a couple of weeks back and i kinda miss a few apps; a few being two, and two being one, since instapaper has a (albeit not that sexy) web version.

to the point: i am using http://simplenoteapp.com/ like crazy, and while there are versions for ios/android out there, there are non for the blackberry os. since they upgraded their web version to ajax and whatnot, it's not usable via the browser either...
my question would be (i have no idea how complicated this would be, feel free to say 'no, what the **** have you been smoking?'): could anyone write an app to sync the memos/notes on the blackberry with that service? or do a standalone app that accesses simplenote via its api?

thanks in advance

Default A Solution

Let me first say, I have been just as desparate as you for I don't even know how longer. However, after spending 2-3 hours today attempting to create/find a solution, I can finally say I have located one

http :// code. goo gle. com /p/simplenote-blackberry/

ignore the spaces i put into the url. because this is my first post (i sympathized with you), crackberry won't let me insert links

its not perfect by any means as you can see, but so far it seems to work at the very least.
for loading the application i just connected my blackberry, put it into files, then on the blackberry navigated to the file using "files" application (should come with your blackberry) and selected the .jar file

for reference, i have a bold 9700 on att. I am currently using os 5

If you use Mac OS X, you can use Automator and Notational Velocity to download your notes to your computer and then copy them into the BlackBerry's notes directory. I imagine AutoHotKey can accomplish the same thing on Windows. It's not perfect and won't work over the air, but it's a workaround.
