question about sprites for games

I'm looking at getting into games app development haaving had some decent experience during my earlier years. The problem is although I'm a decent programmer and have made good progress at the bb app environment I'm absolutely junk at art. Can anyone reccommend somewhere that maybe has graffics/sprites available for download or maybe a places where game artists sell their services?
