Unhappy Problem with JDE 6.0

Hi All,
I have installed JDE 6.0 But i'm unable to open it.
Whenever i try to open it a command appears for a fraction of second and nothing happens?
I tried redownload and reinstall many times but no help.
tried to run clean.bat file and delete setting.rc but none worked.
I tried everything available on forum but nothing happened.
I dont know where i'm doing wrong.
I'm using Windows XP, JDK1.6 update 21. also set the java home path to this jdk1.6.

Please try to help me out on this.....

I have this problem everytime i install a new simulator. the workaround for me is to make a copy of the simulator folder and then uninstall the simulator. i'm not sure if this works for you.

Open the command prompt first, then run the JDE from the command prompt. That way the window won't auto close on exit.
