Playbook OS 2 Developer
You know, I really got to say that I am disappointed. This is only my second post on this site and yet everyday I am reading every other post here at crackberry. I like my playbook because it has such potential but I don't really think RIM has their act together. People are making such a big deal about the new user interface and really, it is completely meaningless to the overall function of the playbook. Give the users what they asked for.
I guess I expect too much. I've owned my playbook since they came out and really nothing all that exciting has happened. I use my BB phone for work so yes I can bridge it and get my email but there still isn't native email for home email address. The playbook lacks a whole bunch of things that should have been available by now and instead they concentrate on prettying up the home screen with naming of folders rather than keeping the existing tabs. Who cares if it now works like the iPad. I have an iPad 2. If I wanted to have a tablet work like the iPad, why wouldn't I just use my iPad?
RIM, listen to the users of this forum. Quit spending your time and effort trying to be like Apple and provide what the users have been asking for. I'm tired of waiting, I'd sell it but with all the recent slashed pricing, it is near worthless.
I expected the playbook to be great and I think it still could be but RIM has made to many promises that they didn't keep and people are losing faith, I for one.
