OTA Hosting

I have an app I would like to get hosted somewhere to be able to offer OTA download.

I figured there must be some free OTA hosting somewhere out there, but was not able to find one. I did find a couple with free OTA theme hosting, but not app hosting.

If I were to go the paid web hosting route, do I need to be looking for anything special in selecting the hosting service? Or is it as simple as opening a godaddy website?

I realize there are certain settings that need to be set up for the directory where the jad and cod reside which is why I am thinking I need to be looking for specific requirements when evaluating hosting sites.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Go to dreamhost.com you can get info on thier site and talk to them directly. I wouldnt think it would be anyhting different other than how you plan on managing your site. Some simple sql stuff thats about it. You could run joomla right from thier "one click" add-ons and be online ina few hours

Thanks for the offer. We have our own domain now for our specific situation. But I will keep the thread alive for others to discuss options that are available to developers.
