what I know is very limited, however I can tell you this. you will need to download GIMP or something like it to resize your icons, now as for re-arranging them I think you can do that in plazmic but not real sure how. hope this is atleast a little help.

Crackberry is not really the best place for dev talk (yet) check out pinstack and blackberryforums as well as the plazmic and BB dev forums

I found the forums on the RIM developer site to be very helpful as well.

Using the composer from Plasmic you can create from scratch your own icons, context menu locations, etc. Right now I am working on a new theme that turns the icons diagonally, and weaves them together like stitching. Looks really cool, and is actually easier to do than I thought it would be. Lots of work to start from scratch, but worth it in the end. Hardest part is coming up with fresh, new images for the icons... who wants to be like the other guys? (Out of all of my custom creations, my favorite is my hourglass image... no longer a timewatch-type box, rather the lightbar from KITT (Knight Rider) but in purple instead of red... Not as boring if nothing else. lol
