Looking to start making apps, but I have questions.

So I make themes for blackberry 8530 and I decided I wanna go further so what do I download to start making apps? And if you could, is it really tough to make apps? Thanks in advance!

what kind of apps do you want to make?

You'll have to download the Java Development Environment, typically versions 4.3, 4.6, and 4.7 cover building for all devices. Or you could just go with 5.0, but that would lose you maybe 20% of the market.

If you're just getting started, I suggest you download the Blackberry Eclipse plugin, as opposed to using a JDE
