hi bba,

thanks for the prompt answer.
but it's bad, that blackberry is doing it's own way like that.
as i get from your answer, there will be no workaround to do what i want to do!?

i have 3 further question regarding calendar:
1. if i invoke the calendar application(blackberry original) in day view/edit mode, i am able to modify the given event. all is looking fine so far. but if chose delete from the blackberry menu, the calendar is crashing, so i cannot use the calendar since i put the batteriy pack away for a few minutes.
2. if i invoke the calendar application, the control will be get back to the called program i developed. but if i invoke the tasks application, it doesn't return to the calling function. is that as usual?
3. if i get an event from calendar, i can get its uid. as i can see, that uid is not unique! so what is that uid for, when it is not unique?

thanks again for your informations.

grettings to the "weisswurschdland" (from Saarland).
