how do i go about creating an app?

Can some one point me in the right direction? And will it cost me any or much money in acquiring tools and knowledge for the app development.

If you want to develop BB apps, you'll need to have a knowledge of Java and most probably Eclipse.

If you have a look at BlackBerry - Java Application Development you will see loads of resources that can help you to learn BB development - all of them free.

In general, everything about BB development is free apart from a code signing certificate ($20 IIRC) which you will probably need if you want to deploy your app to a real device.

Its by no means a theme or a productivity app. Its more along the lines of a utility app.

If you wish, take a look at the utilities I have on the market, and if there's something that would be a good example or starting point for you but what you're doing would not be in near competition, I could license you some code.

I'd strip a few things out so it's not giving someone the ability to just publish and compete with me, but it could still be a useful starting point for something else.

I am looking to get involved in creating apps. How do I go about viewing what you have?
