Have you signed the app with keys, provided by RIM?

Any app will run just fine on a simulator, but needs to be signed in order to run on a real device.

You dont download cod file directly. You have to upload all .cod files and .jad file. Open the browser then and download .jad file. This file contains all the information about other files (.cod), and your bb will download them.

If you want to distribute them w/o submitting them to the App World, you can simply get a free Dropbox account. Put the .cod/.jad file into the "Public Folder". Right click the file inside Dropbox to generate the link. Distribute the link.

When visitors visit the link, they can download and install your file.

I do it the same way: Publish the zipped "deliverables"-Folder (eclipse) on my webspace or dropbox.
Usually youŽll need the BB Desktop Software to install the alx-Files.
