Default Hired a developer

I currently have a developer creating an app for me. Once I get the app posted what is the norm for the 'contact developer' option?

Should it be me directly or my hired developer. Just wondering what other people have done.

Thanks
-strilzy

Also, have people had reasonable success with the apps that they have posted? Mine is a 'fun' one geared towards dog lovers!

Presumably this depends completely on the terms of the hiring of the developer. Is it a fixed price one off piece of work? Does that include a support period from the developer?

It is a fixed price for one piece of work, this does not include a support period. I guess I should discuss this with my developer in case I need some 'fixes'!

I'm a developer. Trust me, you should have it contact YOU.

Typically we develop for lots of people, and in most cases, people don't elect to sign up for a subscription type support (monthly tech fee) unless they're part of a large company. I gather you are not.
Work a deal on single updates. See if they'll accept something like $10 per push. By that I mean - update my contact info, import this xl sheet, etc. Small things. You can't really put a price on major changes without knowing what the request is, but tiny things like contact happen all the time and can easily be agreed upon.
