Free NPR app for OS 5 and above

Thought I would share this...

I run a BlackBerry development blog (www DOT jasonmace.com/blackberry) and I've recently done a small walkthrough on how to use YQL in a BlackBerry Web application.

As a result, there is a free NPR widget that grabs the top 10 stories and gives a teaser paragraph plus a direct link to NPR's mobile site.

Outstanding idea but didn't perform well on my device. I'm running a 5.0 OS 8350 on IDen and it took several minutes to load one article. In addition when It pulled up your blog the page was full screen view with no way to zoom or set it to mobile view and thus make the page readable. If the app provided the ability to open in Opera I think it would be faster on my less-than-cutting-edge BB. Hope this feedback helps.
