Default do CDMA devices support Mass Storage Mode?

I have an AT&T 9000 that when I connect it to the PC asks if I want mass storage mode. This is great because I can copy files to/from the BlackBerry in this mode.

I also have a Verizon 9630 (CDMA) device. In the Memory settings under Options I have mass storage support enabled, and to prompt when connected. Yet it still will not prompt when connected to the PC. I also changed the setting from prompt to Yes - to automatically enter mass storage mode. It does not.

Do CDMA devices support mass storage mode? If yes, how can I get this to work?

Paul

I'm on sprint, and the bb's that are on my account all come up with the prompt (curve, curve, (old tour) and bold). Maybe change it prompt and see if that works? (although I don't believe this is a carrier issue, more with the device itself, unless Vzn locked out something, which I can't speak to)

Do you have the correct drivers on your PC for the 9630?

My Verizon 9630 works perfectly well in Mass Storage Mode, as did my Verizon 8830. I did notice the 9630 when plugged into a Vista laptop would take longer than I wanted to bring up the prompt, so I switched to connecting automatically. I suspect that's a Vista issue, not the BlackBerry, because I didn't experience it with Windows XP and the same BlackBerry.
