Default Developing BB apps for BB devices with no java support

Hi,

I recently started with BB app development using java. I see some of the BB devices like BB 9360 does not support java. This makes me wonder how to create apps for such devices and also how these devices support any other apps that are already present in the device. Since most of the apps are java based and Blackberry OS itself is java based.

So i would be really grateful if someone can let me know what do they exactly mean when they say "Java: No" and "Java: Yes". Is this something related to J2ME ?

Any help in this regard would be truly appreciated.

Regards,
Abhishek

I don't know how a BB phone wouldn't support Java, but the alternative is to create a HTML5/WebWorks app, which will work on current (running OS5 and higher) and future phones.
