Blackberry JDE 4.7 issue: Error message when opening

Hello,

I've just installed Blackberry JDE 4.7 and can't get it to open. I receive an error message that says I'm missing a file: RIMIDEWin32.dll. I installed the latest JDK and JRE from SUN and don't understand why I'm receiving this message. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit and downloaded the corresponding 64-bit JDK package. I searched to no avail for a solution. Any soultions?

You sure abt your version of win7 being x64 platform? If you are go to this link to get the correct JDK Which version of Java should I download for my Windows 64-bit operating system?. The correct JDK will have combo of JDK and JRE.

Also maybe you'd like to install Blackberry JDE 4.7 anywhere but within Program Files folder and also to set the correct environment. Pls see this link JDE 4.7 only works the first time (Vista 64-bit) - BlackBerry Support Community Forums .
