I assume must be open as Active Frame to work?

You should probably mention this, and that it's not your fault, before you get any bad reviews.

How about an alert for when you plug it in as well would that be possible that way you don't have to visually be sure it's charging when you plug it in

An active frame support showing the battery % or something like that and you just made a perfect app.

Good point elite1, I will mention this so that users understand that it's a current limitation of the OS (which will hopefully be addressed soon).

Thanks for the suggestion. At the moment apps can't start by themselves so you would have to load the app first, at which point it will show you visually that it's charging. But certainly something to keep in mind if the situation changes.

Arrow Charger Alert v1.4 for BlackBerry 10

A big update with Charger Alert v1.4 now available at BlackBerry World.

Version 1.4 adds alert sound customization, alert temperature customization, improved design, and a bug fix that caused a delay in displaying the latest battery information.

Note: if you want to use your own sounds you will need to allow the Shared Files permission.
