It depends on your phone. I've read that some HTC and a few Samsung phones will allow a screen shot without being rooted. Since the Froyo update I haven't heard of any moto phones working with any screen shot apps without being rooted.

ShootMe works on un rooted Evo's. (assuming thats the device u still own) it does state u need to be rooted but not all phones require it.

If you have a newer build EVO, Shootme may work. It worked on my 00o4 EVO before I rooted. Only way to know is to download and try.

There is another way if that doesn't work... read up on Android SDK method.

50 apps pre-populated? Yes! I am proud of you!

I looked at my count: 81... (I have a ton of productivity apps, and yes, I do actually cull my apps frequently; quite a few games too...).

Interested in seeing what folks are doing for PIMs.

I use a combo of Business Calendar and Astrid (which syncs to Producteev, my newest to-do favorite).

I like the flexibility of having an online sync system... so I can manage tasks on device or any computer with internet access.

Honorable mentions: Pimlical (Palm Datebk users rejoice!) and Pocket Informant.

Tweetdeck (only use it for twitter, but it's still my favorite)
Wireless Tether *Root*
Pandora - Everybody has this app because it's the shiznit
Poynt
Wells Fargo

I would have added Barcode Scanner just because it's an awesome app but I don't use it everyday.
