I have actually started using the Launcherpro Friends widget (along with Seesmic) to manage FB and Twitter accounts (I also manage my employer's twitter account).
The Friends widget allows you to assign a swipe action, so if I need to do heavy lifting (like a "reply all" or quoted RT) or go to my employer's twitter account, I access Seesmic with that swipe.
Does anyone use ooVoo? - 02-05-2011, 10:48 PM #27

Chrisy520's Apps To Get
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com - 02-06-2011, 08:46 AM #29
You need a Sirius subscription to use the Sirius app (2.99/month add on to your sus), also there have been some complaints that the app has suddenly stopped working over 3G and will only work on wifi (last update broke the app) and they are waiting on a fix.
Google Maps, You Tube, GMail and Amazon MP3 are preloaded on the phone.
Quick Office is loaded onto the phone and does the same thing as Docs To Go (you may be able to save 15 bucks if Quick Office will do what you need)
Blink may not work, there are multiple complaints that the colors dont change
c:geo is awesome I used it when I tried geocaching.
Tether for Android is $25 a month, VZW offers legit tether for the same amount or you can root the phone and use free tethering.
You also need the App Brain app to load from the web to the phone, or you can use the new Android Market which will let you download from the web into the phone using your GMail account

Handcent skins
https://market.android.com/search?q=handcent+skins
For Yahoo look in your "Messaging" icon (mine looks like a mailbox)
Click on the Yahoo icon to open your inbox
Click the menu button
Click email settings
Click email delivery
Then check wither "Data Push" for push delivery or set up a fetch schedule which will check for emails periodically at the time you chooseThanked by:Lovewalk218 (02-06-2011)

ok another question, is there a screenshot app if Im not rooted?
- 02-06-2011, 10:48 PM #35
It depends on your phone. I've read that some HTC and a few Samsung phones will allow a screen shot without being rooted. Since the Froyo update I haven't heard of any moto phones working with any screen shot apps without being rooted.

If you have a newer build EVO, Shootme may work. It worked on my 00o4 EVO before I rooted. Only way to know is to download and try.
There is another way if that doesn't work... read up on Android SDK method. - 02-06-2011, 11:58 PM #38

Interested in seeing what folks are doing for PIMs.
I use a combo of Business Calendar and Astrid (which syncs to Producteev, my newest to-do favorite).
I like the flexibility of having an online sync system... so I can manage tasks on device or any computer with internet access.
Honorable mentions: Pimlical (Palm Datebk users rejoice!) and Pocket Informant. - 02-14-2011, 01:44 PM #43
