Who's ordered their Nexus One already???
So, the site went live-
Who's already placed their orders already?
Did you buy it unlocked? Engraved? Through Tmo?
I just submitted my order, I hope it gets here soon!
OH, and no- I didn't have it engraved in case I want to return it later on down the line..."The Philosopher has never killed any Priests, whereas the Priest has killed a great many Philosophers."

As of now, I'm not sure if this will sell as well as the Droid.

This is a google flop IMO. Getting behind a device on a small network actually made them look stupid at the Q and A at the nexus event. Google in response said that this is a little door, and they are just starting so we can expect WAY more in the coming months. When the phone works on a GOOD network like Verizon or sprint, I will have one, just not going to suffer with t-mo and edge at&t as IMO the droid will be a superior experience until then.

I think it will do alright as well, maybe not at first. But through word of mouth and when the phone will be able to work on more carriers, like Verizon for example, it will do great. If I were to get one, I would probably wait till the 2nd generation of this phone since I just got the Droid a few months ago. But I can't wait to hear more about this phone from regular consumers once they get it.

Make sure to give us a nice review when you get your phone Prada.

it all depends on how well the phone is marketed to the masses.
if theres a decent amount of advertising and so on i think it has the potential to do great. - 01-05-2010, 03:00 PM #13
google owns pretty much the biggest internet advertising company in the world, think about that.

I'm not getting now because its on tmo but once it launches on Verizon I might get it.

I haven't gotten any updates that my N1 has been dispatched yet...
Have you?
It would be an amazing surprise if it did!"The Philosopher has never killed any Priests, whereas the Priest has killed a great many Philosophers."

i hope your kidding about paying 575 on ebay because you can buy it un-subsidized (another word for unlocked) directly from google for 529 bucks.
heres a quote from the google nexus site.
The currently available Nexus One device is unlocked and will recognize SIM cards from any mobile service provider using the GSM standard, but is incompatible with the frequency band used by the AT&T and Rogers networks for 3G data (see below). Additionally, the Nexus One is incompatible with CDMA networks such as Verizon and Sprint.

Also, let us know how the screen looks in natural sunlight, those organic light emitting diodes have me a bit jealous!
