Default What program do I use to link my Droid to computer?

Ok, so I bought SNESoid emulator, and even though I'm not currently 100% sure how to do it, I know I need to put the games on my computer, unzip the file, then put it on my SD card on my Droid. I'm sure I can figure out how to do all this on my own, but what I'm having trouble figuring out, is what program I need on my computer to do this? Like with my blackberry I would have bb desktop manager. What is the equivalent program for my Droid? And will this program be able to unzip the files, or would I need a separate program for that?

I appreciate any help from you guys. I'm very anxious to play some old SNES games, especially some RPG's. Its about time I make use of this nearly-worthless Droid keyboard, and I figured emulators would help me get some use out of it.

You likely don't need any app to do that. Just plug it in to your computer and it should show up as a removable drive that you can browse.

Thats what I thought, but its weird, when I plug my phone in nothing pops up. And Im not quite sure if theres a way to access whats plugged into a usb port some other way.

Im sure Im overlooking something, or doing something wrong.

Sounds like you figured it out, but if you didn't, here is what you do:

    1. plug in usb to phone and pc
    2. on your droid, pull down the notification, and press usb mode
    3. a pop up menu will show up, click mount
    4. transfer whatever files you need onto your phone
    5. pull down notification again when done, click on usb mode, then click umount
    6. unplug usb cable.

Hope that helped, my brain is fried after work.

That does help, thanks. I was going to try and figure it out on my own, but wtf Ill just ask. When I download SNES roms to play on my droid, do I first download them to my phone itself, or first to my computer?

Got a bunch of SNES and now NES roms, this is awesome. Some games are impossible to play using keyboard or touchscreen, but for RPGs its great.

I have a question. You know how you can use a video game type control on your computer, and you just plug it into the usb slot. Could I use one of those controllers on my phone? If a got an adapter of course.

I'm assuming you figured out how to play the games? To answer your question, you have to use the keyboard or virtual keyboard to play
