Yeah, CM7 has that feature built in. I'm thinking about getting the Klipsch Image S4A's because they have built in volume controls. They are a bit pricey though.

I miss BBM and that's about it, thing is I had my first Blackberry in 2005 at work so after 6 years changing to anything was always going to be fresh and new, but Android seems very slick and much more stable and the Desire S I have is a very very good phone (albeit I hope the battery life will improve!)

I really missed the typing on my Storm 2, but then I discovered Swype. It is faster than typing...most of the time, but sometimes its annoying when I use non standard words it changes it. The battery is definitely something I always have to keep an eye on. I'm always turning my 4G or wifi, or 3G connection on and off, because that stuff will drain my battery in about 10 to 12 hours.
But the phone, a EVO 3D is awesome otherwise, and frankly its not a fair comparison to my 2 year old Storm. Heck its not even a fair comparison to most single core phones that came out earlier in the year.

Between me the wife and the kids, the phone is always being used, for games. Lots to choose from, wasn't much to choose from for the BB, but my wife wants a Torch so I hopefully its a huge step up from the Storm, or else I might have to go iPhone.

Probably because they didn't update the app at all , it's still basically the same app.

I tried swype when I first got my Bionic, but soon reverted to the stock keyboard and now I rely primarily on voice-to-text. it's pretty accurate.

I was actually using the keyboard that's similar to the BB keyboard, but a friend of mine showed me how to use swype and I can actually type pretty good without having to look all the time. It just takes a bit of getting used to. I was worried about not being able to type on the full QWERTY, and I did use the text to speech also. It did force me to enunciate and use proper grammar

Blah to be honest I miss the form factor. I'm very tiny so my samsung galaxy s 2 is kind of hard to just pick up on the go. I need 2 hands. Also miss the keyboard somewhat. I miss how reliable getting texts and phone calls are. And how it always shows them in the homescreen with a notification. The form factor was so much better. Feels like a good communication phone rather than a shiny toy. Also miss the led. And how the data was compressed. And the battery. Oh the battery. And how I used the volume button to change songs. I'm always listening to music.

And how if I exit the browser and hit the browser again it takes me to the page I left it on. And how I could easily add a contact /text/call from an app. I thought omggg I have so much more speed and all these games WOO. But the truth is I don't even find myself using games. I have pretty much the same apps as I had on Blackberry, which were better on Blackberry. Funny thing is the phone is supposed for you, it feels like I'm working for the android. I had to install keyboards just to make the phone usable for me. Kind of sad. Oh bugs. I hate the bugs. When I think about it the speed on Blackberry was fine. I never thought I'd say this but BBM and email when used only sometimes, is so much better compared to Android.

Last but not least, Android just feels awkward in my hand when Blackberry... is like my soul mate. To each their own eh? Yes I know I just spent 700 on an SGS2, not to say it is bad, I do like the camera and customization on it. It's also fun to play around with other platforms but when I can upgrade, hopefully I can upgrade to BBX by that time. I can't have it all but, the Blackberry is truly my soul mate. In the mean time, I gotta make the best of my Android phone! <3

Seeing the screen in direct sunlight.
Sometimes miss the Physical KB.
Would say battery, but i charge every night anyway.
LED pails in comparison for sure compared to BB.
BBM is hands down the best chat client. Tried everyone on Andriod and nothing comes close.
Spell check as I can't stand predicted text...

Reason I am sticking with Android. ....
Bigger screen.
Awesome browsing experience.
Love how easy it is to customize and I am not even rooted.
Andriod Market is leaps and bounds better than appworld.
Form factor feels real nice in the hand.

I miss the keyboard shortcuts as well.
I also learned keyboard shortcuts for copy, cut, & paste.
That, along with the trackpad, I was able to move text around just as fast as I could on my PC. I find myself not editing documents as much on the touchscreen, as I did with the physical keyboard on my BlackBerry.

I don't miss a thing after switching to Android. I have no issue with screen brightness in the sun. I have it set to auto. RIM is so far behind it isn't even funny.

The only thing I miss about blackberry is the keyboard but considering things equal. I don't think I can trade it off a 4"+ screen to gain a keyboard. I have been very quick on the touchscreen keyboard in both portrait and landscape. Its really a dying breed.

I still think that some people still prefer a physical keyboard. I know a lady that has long nails. She can use her nails to type on a physical keyboard, but not on a touch screen that well. The touch screen does not register unless it can detect current from your actual finger or a stylus. So, fingernails is a no go.
