Unread message counter?

Is there an app for adding unread message counter for Android? I'm using Sense.

For gmail or for sms, or for which app?

There are free widgets you can download that you use as the icon (as a widget) instead of the native one that includes unread counters.

Gmail. Or Google Voice too.

Just do a search for gmail unread widget, there's a bunch of them. Then you place the widget as your gmail icon instead of the standard icon.
