could you help me im new to droid? i downloaded via my pc do i do that or OTA? wasnt sure so i did both but i dragged the file into my droid folder i just drop stuff in im not sure if im suppose to put it in a certain folder and how do i turn it on or activate it? i go to my app menu and nothing with genie or anything tut please? thanks

Search astro file manager on the market and use that to navigate to where u put the apk on your mem stick. From there click on it and you will see an option to install.

I believe you have to alter permissions as well.
Setting>Applications> Unknown Sources. Check the box, or all you can install is stuff from the app store.8830 4.5.0.160 and Droid, both on Verizon - 01-18-2010, 10:58 AM #8
