track pad lickness??

im thinking of adding a line to my acc and wanted to get a android phone what would be the best choice ? like best phones to choose from probably for videos and web browsing mostly ? and is there any that have a mouse like cursor ?

Im not sure how a trackpad would taste and I wouldn't recommend doing it.

Which carrier do you have? A few I can think of are the Droid Incredible, Droid Eris, Nexus One, HTC Desire, etc..

I have AT&T , I was looking at the Motorola atrix 2 (4g) and the Samsung Infuse and the htc inspire
I just want something fast on the net , good screen for videos n pics , and something that is durable

One thing I don't understand is what is the difference in all the different os es like ginger and ice cream sandwich and there was a few more , also I read somewhere that some android phones you can't update the os ?

All Android phones run about the same, but it depends on what the high end hardware is. You could wait for the Galaxy Nexus and then you would have epicsauce in your phone. I'm not sure which phone is the best right now though but you should play with them and see what you like.
