I'm thinking more and more about an Android device after my sister picked up a Hero. The only thing holding me back is the BlackBerry and its ability to compress data. I only have a 500MB plan and with my Bold I'll rack up 250ish MB per month. I'm afraid that I'll go beyond my limit with an Android or Blackberry. The one month I used an iPhone, my data usage was over 650mb.

So how much did your data usage go up by?

Well since I started to tether a lot more (wirelessly), I've actually hit the gb mark.

I never hit 250 with my BB, but hit 500 with my iPhone consistently. I never really paid attention being that the US carriers have unlimited.

I'm flirting with 5 gb this month , little tethering and playing with new roms.

My usage is up. The browser loads full web pages faster so that is what is using more data for me. I am close to 2gb.

im not sure what my data usage with my storm was since i had an unlimited plan, i also have an unlimited plan with my droid and here is this months usage.

im not sure what all the data was as i have not used any wi-fi tethering.
