    is there a newer droid of the same one thats available. i just got a replacement droid today and this one has more than one led light across the top of the phone. maybe 3 or 4 instead of the one. looks different than the first droid.

    that could be what it is but my last droid did not have those across the top. my last droid only had one thing that looked like that.

    You're probably just now noticing those "holes". There is no newer droid. My droid from nov 6th has the same 4 holes across the top of the screen.

    The two on the right are for the led and the light sensor. The two on the left are the proximity sensors to turn off the screen when on a phone call.
