T-Mobile's Nexus 4 for $500 - hmmm
T-Mobile is selling the Nexus 4 off contract for $500. Why would anyone buy a Nexus 4 for that price when Google is selling them on the Play Store for $350? And being a T-Mobile phone, it likely is locked to T-Mobile. The one Google sells is unlocked and compatible on all GSM carriers.

The pricing makes no sense! I'd only buy this device if I was doing a Classic upgrade for $199. If I were a new customer coming to T-Mobile, I would buy from Google and get a Value/monthly4G plan through T-Mobile. I would not buy this on a new, non-upgrade Classic contract.

t mobile's is unlocked and the same as the one in the Google store BUT Google has a 3-4 week back-order on them. Mine is actually still in limbo and hasn't been shipped but has not be listed as back-ordered yet. i expect to see it delivered Monday or Tuesday hopefully. Some people do not want to wait that long to get the phone so spending $150 more to not have to wait is worth it to some.
And yes buying one ON plan with tmoble is not worth it I completely agree - 11-18-2012, 09:22 AM #4
I wish Verizon had one available for $500 right now.
