Much better shots of it than I've seen thus far, still not a fan, the keyboard comes right up to the phone and looks impossible to type.

Looks better than the original. I'm done with sliders though unless something real serious comes out.

This one looks really nice. It has a raised screen process as opposed to a slide it looks like.

I may be wrong, but I think the keyboard isn't fully open in any of the pics. It looks like it would be pretty flat when the keyboard is swung out all the way.

So technically, it isn't a slider at all.
    A little obsessive...

I saw some new pics today that appeared to confirm that, so it's a swinger... I can TOTALLY dig that! Still, the Galaxy S I have is better, so... yeah, I'm good.

It definitely looks like an interesting device. I would like to are it in person though. Pictures can be deceiving. I'm not really liking slider devices because I don't are the need for them any more. Now that the touchscreen devices are getting bigger, the typing experience on a virtual keyboard is tons better in my opinion than a physical keyboard.

I've made my share of mistakes, and I'm sure you have too. Please don't make small errors on here larger than they need to be. Everything will be alright in the world, regardless of what I've said.

I understand that the 800Mhz Scorpion uses less power and is more efficient than the 1Ghz Snapdragon.

looks nice. wondering how this will compare to the Mytouch HD.
The G2 and the mytouch hd are my two choices as of now for my next phone if there isnt a OS6 leak for the 9700 by the time the G2 releases

    I think it'll be a T-Mobile exclusive just like the G1.

My understanding is that the G2 is part of the Desire Z series. You should be able to order a foreign carriers device & use it on the Death Star.
