I currently own a G1, and I've seen quite a few Android users syncing Facebook contacts with their Contact option.

Is there any way to pull this off on the G1?

Don't know, but if you have a face book app, just log out, then log back on, and that will give you the sync to face book contacts option.....dunno

I think I found something to sync them for me. Its called "Facebook Sync." It goes through FConnect to log into your account, and begins adding contacts, as well as updates photos for ones you already have on your phone.

You should be able to sync with existing contacts or all FB contacts by going to the settings in the FB app. Don't know if it different between 1.XX or 2.XX though.

Tried that. The settings on my G1 never gave me any option to sync. Oh well, this app will work just fine.
