- Basically they do the same thing. They both do it well.
Advantage to Storm: Having Flash. But 2.2 on Android will have it on the update. Camera seems to take clearer pics. Somewhat easier OS and screen set up. Being able to highlight items because of the way surepress works makes some things easier to do.
Advantage to DroidX: Infinitely more app memory. High def video that is simply awesome....beyond expectations awesome. Browsing the web is faster and better. Downloading apps is easy and extremely fast....like 10 seconds.
Basically that is it. They do the same things. Just depends on how you want to do them.
The games and such aren't any better on Android. It's just that you can put more of them on the phone. Actually this has been a bit of a let down. Thought there would be some awesome games. Just isn't the case.
I'd say phone signal and such is pretty much equal. Texting format is about the same. Swype is nice to have but no big deal.
Only big difference is the speed of the Droid. It just does things faster.09-20-10 08:47 AMLike 0 -

- I doubt you had flash on the broken-legged BB browser...but nice try..
There's tons of good games, look around. Try paying, that might help. Most people are like "The games suck" because they refuse to pay 99 cents.
Android OS > BBOS. That's it.09-20-10 11:38 AMLike 0 -
- It loaded Accuweather animated weather map and the DroidX can't.
Basically they do the same thing. Tell me something drastic that i didn't post that the Storm can't do?
Don't get me wrong. I like the DroidX. I like it a lot. I'm just not one of those impressed by what the DroidX SEEMINGLY does. I'm not a DroidX nor a Storm fanboy.
I just say it like it is....
What they will say:
Root? Who cares.
ROMs?: So what?
Tethering?: ThiefLast edited by bigbadwulff; 09-20-10 at 02:46 PM.

I do have to agree that my original take when the Droid came out was, eh. My Storm can do that. But it takes longer. Now looking to sell my S2, but have to meet the 100 post minimum. If I had known that, I wouldn't have stayed in the shadows for so long.09-20-10 09:02 PMLike 0
