    By that, I'm asking, "What's causing the 100$ difference between the DROID and the Eris?"

    I'm also somewhat asking, though the first question was kind of rhetorical, if I didn't care (or wouldn't use) the physical keyboard, the processor doesn't bother me, the screen looks fine on the Eris, I'm not in need of flash, and I can wait for the 2.0 Eclair update on the Eris, would it be a smart decision to get the Eris over the DROID and save the 100$ for something else? Like applications, or buying a 16g memory card.

    I chose the Eris because I did not mind waiting on the updates and it saved me 100 dollars. Plus I prefer an all touch screen device. I love the device so far even though I am still getting used to it. That would be the case on either phone though because it is my first time using the android os
