if had buy one over the other, would go with i4s since used to the platform.and androids have a weak point in battery life.apple isn't all that better in battery life but it surpasses android in that category.but the galaxy s2 is a sweet phone all around.tested one at at&t.its good but it is large in size which can be con for those people with miniscule hands.but android is on top right now when it comes to smartphone specs.apple/bb are playing catch up game.and windows phone could be the underdog that surpasses them all in the future.

I like Android just about as much as I like iOS. Just play with both and see which u prefer. Or if u can't at least read/watch reviews.
I would take some Android phones over an iPhone and an iPhone over other Android phones. I'm not partial to any company/platform. Brand loyalty is stupid. I get what I like/what works for me at a reasonable price point. - 10-29-2011, 11:37 AM #63
I LOVE my Samsung Galaxy SII Epic, so much customization can be done. I switched from a blackberry 9930, especially given the lack of RIM movement into the future. Very good battery life, rock solid data performance, emails get to my phone before they hit my gmail website sometimes, tons of free apps in Android Market and amazon market, etc. Just have to share some of the lovely screens you can make.

Just sold my 4S and picked up the Rezound. Just git bored with the 4S. No problems with it, just got bored. Siri is awesome. A lot of functionality yet to come. But I didn't use it nearly as much as I thought I would. So im back to Android. Feels good to hav the bigger screen and Google Navigation. I missed those a lot.

I'm wondering why I like Android over iPhone and I can't quite figure out why. I like widgets. Maybe that's it?
My next phone I'm looking at the iPhone 4s or Samsung Galaxy.
Is that out yet? When is the iPhone 5 coming?
My first Android was the HTC Thunderbolt. I loved it! But the stock battery was pretty bad so I had to get an extended. This made the phone heavy and I couldn't take it anymore.
Is the Bolt the worst newer Android with battery? Will the Razr and Galaxy be better? - 12-10-2011, 09:28 AM #72
Widgets are an awesome feature of Android.
VZW doesn't have an SGS2. The Galaxy Nexus is coming out though, and that will be Vanilla ICS. Pure Google experience. The iPhone 5 will probably come out in June/July or the same time it came out this year, but next year.My next phone I'm looking at the iPhone 4s or Samsung Galaxy.

Yes the Razr has better battery for the reports I have seen. The SGS2 isn't on VZW so I really don't know how it will handle LTE. You're better off getting the Galaxy Nexus anyways if you do want a new Android device from Verizon. My first Android was the HTC Thunderbolt. I loved it! If you live in Europe then you might not be able to get any 3G-enabled Apple mobile products for a bit...

Motorola scores Apple iPhone/iPad injunction in Germany [Updated] - SlashGear
Remember how Apple decided that this year it would try to crush Samsung in the legal system? This led to temporary bans on the sales of some Samsung Galaxy phones and Tabs in Europe and Australia. The Australian ban was lifted a couple of days ago. Now comes the backlash...
From what I have read, the iPhone 4S isn't in the suit because this case started before the release of the 4S. I haven't seen anything about plans to include it in the ban.
Google (obviously) knew exactly what it was doing when it acquired Motorola Mobility. Initial talk was that it was either about the handset technology, the patents or both. I'm in the 'both' camp, but so far the patents part of the prediction seems to be true.Last edited by zc1; 12-10-2011 at 04:55 PM.

Many people have bought the HTC Rezound battery for their thunderbolts and are saying they are getting much longer use. You can get it on the site for 20 bucks. Just don't log into your account . Have to order it on the site staying out of your acct yo get the discount price.
I was skeptical about it. Verizon and HTC said not to get it. But the specs are OK. I have a brother who got it and swears by it. I now have it and can get up to 15 hours on it. It was given to me. Like I said I was very unsure of it. It is fine. You have a good phone in the thunderbolt. Try the rezound regular battery. It does work and no added bulk
