I really hope that RIM releases a BBM app for other phones such as the droid. Its been the only thing holding me back. I know its unlikely and probably not possible, but it would be nice. I would be willing to shell out 10 bucks for this app.

I hope google talk works as good as BBM works. Still BBM on other phones would be sweet.

Ya i'm looking forward to trying google talk, the advantage to that is non-BB smart phone users can use it as well.

BBM wont be released for other phones. Simply because it requires a RIM account, which is only able to be accessed on RIM devices.

BUT. I would like to see a Desktop version where you can login via your BIS username/password maybe?

google talk is just what you need...it's just as fast as bbm on all smartphone platforms

But I wonder will google talk auto login like bbm does. Sometimes it doesnt on my storm and thats issue with my wife. She never remembers to log in after a battery pull.
