moosc just go in they are doing that because they don't want alot of people waiting around. I would just go in first thing in the morning. They can't/won't turn you away......

The chick at Best Buy told me they are only scheduling people for that reason but i can come in anytime. If your comfortable with having to wait just go in. worst case you wait for 2 hours/best case you get it at 10am

I asked in the store yesterday and was told no appointments. Called again just a minute ago and was told again, no appointments. Wish I could believe them but seems like I always get a different answer to my questions depending on who I ask.

Planning to be there verrrrrry early since this store supposedly only has 50 units.

Sleeping bag, check. Thermos of coffee, check. Take a leak before I leave the house, check!

The Best Buy guy called me today to make my appointment. He said "You wrote down 9:30 (which is when they open) on the pre-order form. That is what time we open, but we are not setting up appointments until 10:30. We need time to get ready".

I promptly told him that I would be there at 9:30, because I have a 10:30 meeting and he said "I guess that will be okay. We'll go ahead and do it at 9:30".

Damn straight...ha ha ha.

well, according to BGR, Walmart is selling the Droid for $188, I'm not sure if they will honor your ne2 though....it's straight up $188, no mail in rebate necessary

I agree...The 50% is nice but I mean really? I dont understand why reps at the store can not handle our accounts but a rep over the phone can...? Just doesn't make any sense to me....But i'll be up at 12:30am trying to place my order
