Default Notification Help!

Hello guys, I recently just bought my galaxy s2 like 3 days ago (First android comming from blackberry) and I love this phone. But the notifications is kinda pissing me off since yesterday. My top left corner of my phone has a red/orange circle with a number on it and it will not go away. Theres nothing in the drop down menu and all my voicemails/texts/emails are deleted and all my apps are up to date. I don't know whats going on. I even restarted and turned off my phone many times. And I couldn't find an answer online. Anyone please help this first time android user!

Thank you!

Ummm, why are you asking for Android answers in a BlackBerry forum? You might want to move this over to the Android side and you will get more answers.

Can you post a screenshot? I think with the SGSII you hold down the Power and Home button at the same time.

A screenshot would definitely help.

Looking quickly thru the user guide, I just noticed a camera option called Beauty. anyone tried it? I presume it's either doing a "soft focus" or it's applying a Gaussian blur?

This is what it did when I tried it. I don't see much of a difference than normal.

too bad the front camera reverses the image. IIRC, the Bionic does that also.

Yeah, same with the Sensation and SGS2. But I was actually using the rear camera because I couldn't select the "beauty" option using FFC.
