nexus one on vzw
I know that in spring the N1 will be coming to verizon, but I was wondering, does anyone know what month in spring it will be? Or hear any rumors of the possible month?

You're lucky you got a time frame as specific as a season - they could have just said "out before 2011."

Do we ever know until someone from the actual company gives a date? They said spring so we got a 3 month window. They may be waiting to see what Apple is doing with the iPhone. I'm sure they don't want to release this thing and then Apple drops a bomb on everyone 1 week later. This is probably why there's no confirmed month yet.
Who cares which device is better? Isn't all that matters is that it's the best one for you? - 01-14-2010, 03:02 PM #6
After reading the reviews I am no longer interested in the N1, If it didn't have the trackball is would be 10+ better...
I will wait for a Droid 2, no slider version...{+_+} Droid... 2.1/Rooted

Are you serious? That seems a little rediculous.
I could see if the N1 doesn't do very well with what they are currently doing google wanting to get it on Verizon as soon as possible. I'm sure they would also like to get it to more carriers before Apple makes there announcement.

Probably proves yet again that VZW knows when to not get something right away. N1 has had issues. The Pre and Pixi had issues at first. Same could be said for other devices that they seemed to "pass on." It could even be debated that even though they have lost a lot of customers to the iPhone they knew the first version wasnt as good and it probably would have caused network issues just like ATT is dealing with.

It is really hard to say what they are going to do. On one hand they have alot at stake with the droid but I am sure Google really wants to get the n1 out asap due to the poor sales with tmobile.
I feel that in todays world of something new being released every week that the Droid is almost to the maturity stage. I mean with the N1 already out and soon to come to verizon and Apple coming out with something new pretty soon, along with the ton of other androids phones coming out that the droid is almost "out of date"
