So I have some ringtones that I saved to my Droid X that I used for certain contacts. Well this morning one of those contacts called me and it wasnt that ringtone... I went and checked his contact and it shows as being an unknown ringtone... I checked all my ringtones and the names are there but when played they all play the same sound and not the ringtone. I checked all the contacts that have specific ringtones and they all say unknown ringtone as well as my general ringtone which was the notre dame victory song. They all play as a bell ringtone now? Any idea why or how this happened and how to fix it?


And I just noticed that none of my soundboard apps work. UGH!

Ok so nothing will play now. Ringtones that I try to preview from apps wont play as well.

Power cycle your phone, turn off, then on. See if that resets everything.
