    Had a leaked version of swype beta since summer, but it ran out after a month. Last week I got an email saying it was open again and downloaded the new version. v2.15.56.14870.t100 It worked fine but yesterday it stopped working. I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it but it won't let me select swype as my keyboard. Any thoughts? or has anybody else had a similar issue with Swype recently? I'm running redemptive revolution 2.1 on HTC incredible.

    Maybe try moving it into /system and it will work better? Don't know why it wont work even after you uninstall/reinstall. Maybe the ROM has something to do with it but I doubt it.

    I don't think its the rom because it worked and I didnt switch Roms or install any new apps. I'll try moving swype to a different location.

    Move it to /system/app and set the permissions correctly and then reboot the device and see if that works.
