Motorola Shadow to AT&T!
Its good to see that all the networks are getting their own versions of an Android superphone. Looks like it'll compete with the EVO 4G & Droid Incredible with these type of specs...
From AC:
Whoa! The WiFi Alliance certified the (likely Android) Motorola MB810 today for IEEE Standard 802.11 b/g/n. Yes, that's the Shadow, and I know a lot of us have been waiting for more info about this screamer. Still no concrete details or specs, but in case you forgot here's what we think we know:-
* Full Qwerty landscape slider
* 4.3-inch capacitive screen
* 1080p playback
* Android 2.2
* Bluetooth 2.1
* 8MP autofocus camera
* microSD slot
* AT&T 3G GSM radio
If you're an AT&T subscriber, start gathering up the change from your ashtray and from deep down in the couch. This is one you don't wanna miss out on. [via Phonedog]Last edited by YaBoiD; 05-02-2010 at 01:19 PM.

After LOVING my Bold 9000 and BB's in general. My Bold is showing signs of wear and the BB OS (I dont want to update if its not an ATT OS) is acting old. I checked to see whats new and upcoming for ATT and this monster might be the phone that breaks me from my 4+ year love affair with Blackberry.

That is not the shadow in the picture. That is an old render of the Droid 2. And btw the Shadow will have a 4.1" screen. And if AT&T is on the receiving end for this phone, then it's not the only major US carrier it's going to.
This is the Shadow. Shadow will not have a slide out keyboard. It's a slate.

When is AT&T going to get this?

It'll be hitting VZ in the summer. There's been suggestions that waiting until Christmas for an Android phone is advised if you can. If you're into the big screen thang.

Yes, Shadow is for Verizon. AT&T is also getting at least one large screen Android device.

I'm always surprised by the strength of Verizon's signal. I was walking from class to an underground parking garage while on the phone with my friend, i heard him perfectly in the elevator at the fourth floor below ground. I thought for sure i would lose signal or at least cut out, but it didn't skip a beat.
