Anybody else anxiously awaiting this like I am?

I LOVE the idea of the Droid, and would love to pick one up..but that dang keyboard just looks like a bear to me. I'm hoping the Devour is the solution to my problem!

Count me in. I liked the name Calgary better but Devour is still a good name. I think it is rumored to be released soon after the new year correct? I know there isn't much info out on this device yet but if it the Calgary as speculated I think they have been working on it for a while so January could be possible. If so this will probably be my next phone since I can upgrade in January!

HAHA that made me laugh. But yea it looks like the Droid's ugly twin IMO.
Its like a butterface. Everything is good but her face.

The calgary if I'm not mistaken is a feature phone, not a smart phone.

EDIT: OOPS after just checking I guess I was wrong? From what I can tell the Calgary is a smart-phone running MotoBlur. After becoming more familiar with Blur I have to say I'm not that impressed with it.

It looks "cute". But if I'm getting a new phone to last me a year or two I want full featured, not trimmed down. that's just me. Other than that it seems like a very usable device that will suit many well.

If it weren't for the smaller screen I'd consider it.

EDIT: I'm diggin the space between the keys. If it's as fast as the Droid, it may be a winner.

This phone will suck compared to the hardware in the Droid. This phone is made to be positioned at the younger crowd and under the Droid in the lineup. Perhaps they should have kept the original design, but Verizon decided to have Motorola fug it up and make it ugly. Sucks for them...

Yeah. But those special talents only satisfy for the short term, then you realize you want the whole package (a phone you can be proud to own) and not afraid to take out in public.
